Meet Samantha
I'm a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I truly believe in walking alongside you with compassion and empathy as you navigate your healing journey. My approach is centered around the idea that you are the expert of your life. As your therapist, I’m not here to "fix" you but to help you uncover your own answers, guiding you toward the next step and supporting you in building a toolbox for self-regulation and growth.
I primarily use a mix of psychodynamic, somatic therapy, CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and eco-therapy in our work together. These modalities allow us to explore both the mind and body in healing, while also tapping into the healing power of nature and movement, which I believe are essential to the process.
I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and parents in a variety of settings, including schools, community-based programs, and clinics. My experience has taught me that healing is unique to each individual, and I take great care in creating a space where you can feel heard, seen, and supported.
I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a minor in Special Education, as well as a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and LMFT/LPCC credentials. I’m a trauma-informed therapist, meaning I approach each session with sensitivity and understanding of how past experiences may influence the present.
When I'm not working with clients, you can find me outdoors, often with a good book in hand, soaking in the peace that nature offers.
I'm looking forward to partnering with you in this transformative journey!
